Recommended Dress Code for the Reunion

Dear All:

Reunion Committee has met over a conference call today and we are taking care of the last minute logistics for our reunion.

One of the important things that transpired in the call today is a suggestion regarding the dress code for the reunion.

Here is the recommended/suggested dress code for the reunion:

[1]  August 10th Friday - Check-in Day: 

Informal attire (jeans, pants, T-shirts, shorts, salwar kameez, chudi dars, etc.) so that you can play the lawn games, participate in run/walk/races;

[2] August 11th Saturday Morning:  

Semi-formal, business-casual, professional attire; This is the attire you wear to your office/work; 

And this is the time we will be meeting the faculty (current and former faculty)

[3] August 11th Saturday evening / entertainment night:    

Traditional attire you typically wear to a wedding/celebration 

         Women/Girls: Sarees, Salwar kameez, Lehengas, Half-Sarees, Pattu Langalu, etc. 

         Men/Boys: Shervani, Dhoti, Kurta, etc.

[4] August 12th Sunday - belum caves trip:   

All alumni will be wearing the reunion T-shirts; 

Family Members: Any semi-formal/informal attire

Please note that there will be a professional videographer / photographer for these 3 days; We plan to select around 500 pictures from the reunion and include those on the DVD. This DVD will be included in the alumni book and shipped to the alumni after the reunion.

Some of our buddies do not have email or facebook (or they don't check these often); Please take a minute to pass on this information when you talk to them.
